| The Coast to Coast is the most popular long distance trail in the UK,
welcoming walkers from all over the world. Alfred Wainwright's classic
walk crosses England from the Irish Sea at St Bees to the North Sea at Robin
Hood's Bay, traversing three of Britain's most beautiful national parks. The
walk is 15 nights with accommodation at comfortable guest houses along the
route. Luggage is transported.

ITINERARY - 15 nights - COMPLETE TRAIL
Day 1: arrival day.
Day 2: from the beach at St Bees we head
towards the Lake District.
Day 3: stunning views of Great Gable as we
walk beside Ennerdale Water to Honister Pass and Borrowdale.
Day 4: a beautiful Lake District walk to
Wordsworth’s Grasmere.
Day 5: through the Helvellyn range to
Patterdale.
Day 6: ascend Kidsty Pike and then along the
shores of Haweswater to Shap.
Day 7: through the outlying Cumbrian Fells to
Kirkby Stephen.
Day 8: over the main Pennine watershed and on
to Keld.
Day 9: on through the Yorkshire Dales National
Park to Reeth.
Day 10: along the attractive valley of
Swaledale to historic Richmond.
Day 11: across the pastoral Vale of York.
Day 12: enter the North York Moors, the third
national park of our journey.
Day 13: along the moors escarpment to Blakey.
Day 14: across the heather-clad moors to
Grosmont.
Day 15: a memorable last day to the North Sea
cliffs and the beach at Robin Hood’s Bay.
Day 16: departure day.

We want you to be confident that you can meet the demands of this walk and
get the most out of your holiday. The walking day is normally 7-8 hours
and it is important for your own enjoyment, and that of your fellow guests
