This walking holiday is based for a week in the lively Tyrolean village of Mayrhofen in Austria's Zillertal Alps. From here an extensive network of cable-cars and chairlifts open up the magnificent mountain scenery which makes great walking. For those who choose the more gentle walk there are beautiful rambles through alpine meadows.

Prices are per person for one week based on double occupancy without air.
Supplement for a single room 7.00 GBP per night.  

Included:  7 or 14 nights accommodation with private bath, breakfast and dinner daily, guided walking programme with choice of walk each day.

Walking: Two levels of walking are offered each day.

  •     Harder Level walks     5.5– 10 miles.          1500 - 3100 ft of ascent over a day.
  •      Easier Level walks      5 - 7.5 miles with       600 – 1200 ft of ascent over a day.
Hotel: HOTEL WALDHEIM. Year after year the four-star Hotel Waldheim has won accolades from our guests for its beautifully maintained accommodation, exceptionally helpful service and wonderful meals.  The Pfister family pride themselves on the quality of their hotel which has 20 immaculate en-suite bedrooms, a comfy lounge and a sauna.  Situated in a peaceful location overlooking meadows, the hotel is just a few minutes' walk to the village centre and an outdoor swimming pool.  During popular weeks additional single rooms may be available in one of the neighbouring guesthouses.
