This walking holiday is based at the coastal town of Puerto de Soller on the island's northwest coast. Here the mountains plunge dramatically down to the blue Mediterranean. Hillsides are covered with olive groves, fig and almond trees.

Walking:  Two levels of walking are offered each day.

  •    Harder walks    7 - 10 miles.   1000 - 2200 ft of ascent over a day.
  •     Easier walks     5 - 8  miles       450 - 1,600 ft of ascent over a day.
  Hotel: HOTEL PORTO SOLLER:  This welcoming three-star hotel occupies a splendid elevated position overlooking Puerto de Soller.  The magnificent sea views can be enjoyed from the outdoor pool, panoramic terrace and many of the 126 en-suite bedrooms.  Excellent Mallorcan meals and friendly service contribute to an enjoyable stay.
