This region of southern France is based in the tiny village of Malaucene at the foot of Mont Ventoux. Walks include rambles through vineyards and orchards as well as through the region's gorges and limestone hills.

2009 Dates: Classic Walking Holidays start on Saturdays from May 02  to June 13 and from Aug 29 to Sep 26.

Prices are per person for 7 nights based on double occupancy without airfare.
Supplement for a single room 14 GBP per night.

7 or 14 nights accommodation, breakfast and dinner daily, guided walking program.

Walking: Two levels of walking are offered each day.

  •    Harder walks      6 -12 miles.     900 - 1,900 ft of ascent over a day except one walk with 2450 of ascent
  •     Easier walks      5 - 8 miles       300 - 1,100 ft of ascent over a day.
Hotel: DOMAINE DES TILLEULS. Dating from the 15th century, the three-star Domaine des Tilleuls oozes with Provencal charm and character.  A warm welcome awaits from the owners Dominique & Arnould Chastel who have tastefully restored the 20 en-suite bedrooms and attractive dining rooms.  After your walks you can relax in the spacious shady garden or swim in the outdoor pool.  Superb Provencal dinners can be enjoyed in local restaurants, just a few minutes walk away in the centre of Malaucene village.
