South Wales      BRECON

South-East Wales - The hikes explore the mountain regions of the Brecon Beacons National Park.  Walk to the dramatic waterfalls of the Hepste, Melte and Nedd Fechan valleys.  Ascend the distinctive summits of Pen y Fan and Corn Du.  When you are not walking visit the famous bookshops of Hay-on-Wye or the town of Brecon and the tranquil Brecon Canal. Listen to a Welsh choir.

 2022  Seven night guided walking holidays start on Fridays from April to October.

High Season prices start at 985 GBP  (Great Britain pounds) per person for one week based on double occupancy.  (approximately $1775 Cdn)
Non-member associate fee            30 GBP per person.
Single rooms with no single supplement are offered but with limited availability.

Includes:
Seven nights first class accommodation with private bath
Three meals a day
Guided walking programme with a choice of three walks daily
Transportation in conjunction with the walks

Walking: Each day there is a choice of three guided walks:
                
Easier walks       5.5 - 8.5 miles       .   
                       Medium walks      7.5 - 10.5 miles   
                        Harder walks      10.5 - 12.5 miles

What to do when you are not walking:   Listen to a Welsh choir. Explore the town of Brecon and cruise on the Brecon Canal.  Visit Hay-on-Wye with its many bookshops.



ACCOMMODATION:   NYTHFA HOUSE: 
is a charming Country House hotel located on the edge of the town of Brecon within easy reach of many fine walking areas.  In this quiet setting you can relax in the attractive gardens or in the conservatory. Or you can make use of the indoor swimming pool. Rooms have private bath, TV, hairdryer and wifi. All are non-smoking. 

All meals are included with a hot or cold breakfast buffet, a generous self-select picnic lunch and a hearty three-course evening meal. There is always a vegetarian option..
