Walks in the Scottish Highlands are based for a week at a
country house hotel on the shores of beautiful Loch Leven at Glen Coe. The
Highland area is the crucible of Scottish history with castle ruins
brooding beside majestic lochs. Not
far away are Loch Ness, the historic battlefield of Culloden, the port
of Oban and Inveraray Castle. This is the best mountain walking in
Britain with opportunities to climb Ben Nevis.
2012 Walking Holidays: Classic
Walking Holidays operate weekly starting every Saturday from April
through October. Walkers stay at the same hotel for seven nights. Days
start and end with a short bus ride so the walks are in the most
spectacular parts of the island. Three different guided walks
are offered each day. You choose according to fitness and ability.
