Walks in the Scottish Highlands are based for a week at a country house hotel on the shores of beautiful Loch Leven at Glen Coe. The Highland area is the crucible of Scottish history with castle ruins brooding beside majestic lochs. Not far away are Loch Ness, the historic battlefield of Culloden, the port of Oban and Inveraray Castle.

Above prices are for summer high season. Prices are slightly lower in spring and fall.

Walking:  A choice of three guided walks is offered each day.

  •    Easier walks         6 – 10 miles.       up to 1,180 ft of ascent over a day.
  •     Medium  walks    5 - 10 miles        1,650 - 3,400 ft of ascent over a day.                   
  •     Harder walks        6 -11 miles         2,400 – 4,800 ft of ascent over a day.
Hotel: Surrounded by towering mountain peaks, ALLTSHELLACH occupies a stunning location on the beautiful shores of Loch Leven.  Formerly a residence of the Bishop of Argyll, its facilities now include 2 lounges, one of which was a chapel, a dance room and popular Highland Bar.  Following extensive refurbishment there are now 37 en-suite bedrooms in the main building and new facilities include an indoor swimming pool and spa pool.  All meals are included.
