Shropshire Hills       Church Stretton

The town of  Church Stretton is an ideal base from which to explore the Shropshire Hills. From here, there are outstanding walks to the Long Mynd, Caer Caradoc and Ragleth Hill, while travelling a little further afield enables a wider exploration of this scenic hiking county near the Welsh border.

Guided walking holidays  operate weekly starting Fridays from May through October. Walkers stay at the same hotel for seven nights. Days start and end with a short bus ride so the walks are in the most spectacular parts of the island.  Three different guided walks are offered each day. You choose according to your fitness and ability.

2021 Prices start at 820 GBP per person for one week based on double occupancy. (approximately $1435 Cdn)
Non-member associate fee            10 GBP per person.
Single rooms with no single supplement are offered but with limited availability

.Walking: Each day there is a choice of three guided walks:
            
Easier walks        5.5 - 7 miles per day with up to 1275 ft of ascent
Medium walks     8.5 - 9 miles per day with up to 1650 ft of ascent
Harder walks      10.5 - 12.5 miles per day with up to 2525 ft of ascent.
