Sussex Gardens
& the Hampton Court Flower Show

July 7 - 14, 2008   

The county of Sussex in South East England is home to world-renowned gardens and some delightful, less well-known ones.  From tranquil landscaped parks and romantic, quintessentially English gardens to elegant garden 'rooms' and Victorian greenhouses, you'll find plenty to delight and inspire you here. 

We visit the best of the public and private gardens of Sussex and combine this with a day at the  
Hampton Court Palace Flower Show with its numerous display gardens and floral marquees, set in the expansive parkland surrounding Hampton Court Palace.
For seven nights we stay at the elegant Abingworth Hall, an English country-house estate converted to a hotel and situated in delightful Sussex countryside on eight acres of parkland with its own lake. The hotel has a conservatory, an elegant lounge and a heated outdoor pool. A sumptuous breakfast is included every day plus dinners served family style at tables for eight. Lunches are picnics in the Sussex countryside.
