Independent walking holidays - The Kerry Way, Ireland

Following the old droving tracks and coach roads of the Inveragh Peninsula in South-Western Ireland - the route takes walkers along the celebrated Ring of Kerry.  From Killarney the route starts through the National Park and takes in the very best scenery - coast and hills between the island-studded bays of Dingle and Kenmare. The trail follows narrow lanes through leafy woods and around tumbles of moss-covered rocks. The trail links coastal villages, crosses tiny bridges over babbling streams and past miniature churches.
