The Hotel Balcon de Europa is a delightful four-star
hotel in a perfect location in Nerja, one of southern
Spain's prettiest resorts. Overlooking its own small beach,
the hotel has panoramic views of the
Mediterranean and the dramatic coastline while the hotel
is also within easy walking distance to the centre of this
pretty town.
There are 111 rooms, each tastefully decorated. Rooms have
marble bathroom with hairdryer, twin beds that can be made
into a large double, air conditioning, heating, mini bar,
satellite TV, direct dial telephone and safety deposit
box. Seaview rooms have a private balcony. Standard
rooms face the town and the mountains. Our allotment
of double rooms are all seaview but for singles, to keep
the cost down, we have a few non-seaview rooms with a
lower supplement.
The hotel's El Nautico Restaurant is an appealing beach
bar and eatery, specialising in freshly-caught seafood
dishes for lunch. Breakfast is served buffet style in the
hotel's dining room. Dinners are served in the elegant
dining room. Some nights we have dinner in restaurants in
Nerja.
Hotel facilities include two
elevators, a heated outdoor pool, sauna and sun terrace,
24-hour reception, two bars, internet access.
