- Single supplement  (in a studio apartment)                   $  450 Cdn per week.
- Extra week in Tobago (in a studio apartment)                $  600 Cdn per person (double occupancy)

- Seven nights accommodation at Crown Point Resort in Tobago.

- Guided tours including transportation to the following:
         - Caroni Wetland tour by boat to see the Scarlet Ibis
         - Asa Wright Centre tour with an expert local guide (including flight from Tobago)
         - Arnos Vale Birdwatching Centre with expert local guide
         - Full day Tobago Rain Forest walk and Island Tour with a local guide
         - Two guided nature/bird-watching walks with a local expert

Booking information:
Deposit:  $1000 (if taking the flight)  $600 deposit if not taking the group flight.
Balance 60 days prior to start of the holiday. 
Credit cards are accepted.

Cancellation penalties:
Up to 60 days prior to departure - loss of deposit
60 days or less prior to departure - 100%

RBC Trip Cancellation insurance is available. Cost varies depending on the insured's age.

Entry Requirements - Canadians require a valid passport. Passport must be valid for at least six months after leaving Trinidad.
Frequently asked questions about our tours:

Do I have to be a teacher?
No. Definitely not. Our escorted cultural tours are for people from all professions - not just teachers.

Why is it called Teachers Travel?
The company was founded in 1970 by a group of former teachers.

Can I buy just the tour without the airfare from Toronto?
Yes. We can sell just the land portion or we can book flights from other cities.

How hot is Tobago?
Average mid-day high temperature in mid winter is 85 F or 29 C. There are constant trade winds which make the heat quite comfortable. 

What should I wear?
Dress is casual. You will need comfortable walking shoes and lightweight long pants for the walking tours.

Do I need special vaccinations?
No vaccinations are mandatory. For travel to any third-world countries most doctors recommend that you have a hepatitis shot and that your tetanus shot be up to date. 

Can I drink the water?
We suggest you don't drink the tap water although Tobago is not a place where tourists usually get sick. Bottled water is readily available.
