INFORMATION
To make a reservation:
A deposit of $1500 per
person is due to book your trip ($600 if not
taking group flight)..
Visa, Mastercard or American Express as well as cheques are
accepted.
Final payment is due 8 weeks prior to departure. (There is a
discount of $100 per person on final payments made by cheque).
Cancellation Charges:
Loss of deposit for cancellations up to 60
prior to departure.
100% non-refundable for cancellations between 60 days prior and
the day of departure.
Trip Cancellation insurance:
It is advisable that you
purchase Trip Cancellation Insurance for your trip
as well as out of the country medical insurance. Trip
cancellation insurance must be purchased at time of deposit.
Please inquire about the cost of the
different options. Teachers Travel sells RBC insurance.

Passports and visas: A
valid passport which does not expire within 6 months of your
arrival is required by
Canadian and U.S. citizens. As well, a visa is required
for entry to Turkey. It is obtained
online before travelling to Turkey. Cost is $60 US. www.evisa.gov.tr

Do I have to be a teacher?
No. Definitely not. Our escorted cultural tours are for
people from all professions - not just teachers.
Why is it called Teachers Travel?
The company was founded in 1970 by a group of former
teachers.
Can I buy just the tour without the airfare from
Toronto?
Yes. We can sell just the land portion or we can book
flights from other cities.
Can I upgrade the flight to business class?
Yes. We can give you a quote on business class on various
airlines or World Traveller Plus on British Airways.
How large are the groups?
We limit the group size to about 20 people plus guides.
How
strenuous is the tour?
There are a few mornings with early starts but most days
touring starts at 9 am. In most places we have a two
or three night stay so we are not packing and unpacking
every day. |

the destination and standards and conditions there with respect
to the provision of utilities, services and accommodation may
differ from those found in Canada.
