typical Tuscan cuisine. There is a 200 square meter wellness

On the Island of Elba we stay
for five nights at the three star Hotel
dei Coralli. It
is surrounded by greenery 800 metres from the centre of the village of Marina di Campo
and 100 metres from a beautiful golden sand beach. The 62 bedrooms all feature en-suite bathrooms with shower,
heating, air-conditioning, direct-dial phone and colour TV. There is
an olympic-sized pool. The food is excellent with lots of choice and on
one night we have a short walk into the town to sample Elba cuisine at a
local seafood restaurant. At the centre of Marina del Campo is an old fishing village with picturesque painted houses. It is dominated by the Pisan tower which was used long ago as a watch tower. The town has a lovely seafront walk, famous as a meeting place in the evening. |
